As the imposed war against the Islamic Republic of Iran drags on, the embattled Israeli regime is seeking access to US missile stockpiles in the region, informed sources say.
According to information obtained by Press TV, the Israeli regime is actively working to ensure that any potential Iranian retaliatory strikes on American bases in the region result in a “direct and serious” US involvement in the ongoing war.
Sources assert that full-scale US participation in the ongoing imposed war is precisely what the Netanyahu regime is pushing for in order to leverage advanced American weaponry stationed in the region to target Iran’s vast missile and drone infrastructure.
The United States has already been involved in the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic – from the planning stages to execution – but Washington finally made it public in the wee hours of Sunday morning after targeting Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities.

The attacks on the nuclear facilities of a country that is a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) constitutes a clear violation of international law and the Geneva Conventions, as stated by international experts and observers.
According to informed sources, the formal entry of the US into the war followed repeated requests from the Netanyahu regime and pressure from Zionist lobbying groups in the US.
Shortly after the assault, former US President Donald Trump took to social media to claim responsibility. In a national address, he said the objective of the strikes on nuclear sites in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow was “the destruction of Iran’s nuclear enrichment capacity.”
Iranian officials, however, maintain that the damage was limited and that no external aggression can dismantle the country’s indigenous nuclear enrichment program.
At the same time, they also emphasize that the program remains entirely peaceful, despite unfounded and unsubstantiated Western claims used as a pretext to pressurize Iran.

Meanwhile, sources said Iran had already relocated its enriched uranium and that the three targeted facilities had been evacuated months in advance
Iran has vowed to retaliate against the unprovoked and unlawful act of aggression on its peaceful nuclear sites, which are protected under international law.
While retaliatory strikes on US bases in West Asia are under consideration, the Iranian parliament has also voted to close the Strait of Hormuz, a move that could severely disrupt global energy security and disrupt the military-industrial complexes in Western countries.
The Israeli regime launched its aggression against the Islamic Republic on June 13, which led to the assassination of many high-ranking military commanders, scientists, university professors, athletes, and other ordinary citizens.
In response, Iranian armed forces launched Operation True Promise III, carrying out 21 waves of missile and drone strikes against strategic military intelligence targets in the occupied territories and decimating the regime's much-hyped air defense systems.
