Massive crowds gathered at Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Saturday, as thousands of protesters joined the March for Gaza to show solidarity with Palestinians and condemn Israeli military actions in Gaza.

The demonstration came in response to the resumption of Israeli airstrikes following the collapse of a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas.

Footage from the protest shows demonstrators waving Palestinian and Bangladeshi flags, chanting slogans, and calling for unity among Muslim-majority nations.

Protesters have called for an immediate cessation of what they describe as the Israeli occupation's genocide against Palestinians and the relentless airstrikes. They have also urged Muslim nations to adopt a unified stance, appealing to countries like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar to raise their voices in support of Gaza.
