Netanyahu’s ‘revenge’ policy against children of Gaza doomed to failure: Hamas

Hamas says the Israeli military’s intensified atrocities in Gaza are part of Benjamin Netanyahu’s policy of “revenge” against the innocent people of the besieged Palestinian territory.

The Palestinian resistance group said in a statement on Tuesday that this “policy of revenge against children, women, and the elderly is not a plan to achieve a supposed victory, but rather a recipe for inevitable failure.”

According to Gaza's civil defense agency, Israeli airstrikes killed at least 19 civilians, including several children, across the Palestinian territory on Tuesday.

Hamas once again urged the international community to do its part to rein in the regime.

It also warned Tel Aviv that military escalation would not return the Israeli captives alive.

“It threatens their lives and kills them. Their return is only possible through negotiation.”

Israel has killed over 1,390 Palestinians since it resumed the campaign of genocide in Gaza on March 18, unilaterally ending a two-month ceasefire that had brought relative calm to the territory and facilitated the release of the Israeli captives.

The fatalities have brought the death toll since October 2023 to 50,752, according to the Gaza health ministry.
