The Israeli military has intensified its raids in several towns and refugee camps across the occupied West Bank, arbitrarily abducting several Palestinians.

Reports said the Israeli attacks took place on Monday in the cities of Nablus and Tulkarm, as well as Yatma, Beit Ummar, Kafil Haris, Qabatiya, and Ni’lin towns, and the villages of Marka and Wadi al-Far’a.

Other raids targeted the Fawwar, Jalazon,e, and Tulkarm camps, which are located in the southern, central, and northern West Bank, respectively.

Local sources said the occupation forces abducted young Palestinian man Saleh Snober after storming his home in Yatma.

Palestinians struggling to access basic needs in West Bank: Red Cross

In a statement released on Monday, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said it is "deeply concerned" about the impact of the Israeli raids on the civilian population in the West Bank, where many people have fled their homes to take shelter in crowded mosques and schools.

“With many homes damaged or destroyed, people are struggling to access basic needs such as clean water, food, medical care, and shelter,” it added.

Israel completing Gaza genocide in West Bank: Official

Meanwhile, Palestinian Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh said the Israeli soldiers are storming the West Bank cities, systematically destroying the infrastructure, and detaining people in a bid to occupy more land and isolate Palestinian areas.

He also warned that the regime's authorities are "completing what they started in the Gaza Strip by crimes of genocide in the West Bank."

The Israeli military launched its offensive against the occupied West Bank on January 21, claiming that it was targeting resistance fighters of the Jenin Battalion.

Israel has ramped up West Bank violence since October 7, 2023, when it launched its genocidal war on the Gaza Strip. Since then, the regime forces have killed at least 923 Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
