Iran team has clinched the Greco-Roman championship title in the United World Wrestling (UWW) ranking tournament held in Zagreb, Croatia.
The Zagreb Open Cup international wrestling competitions and the first stage of the World Wrestling Federation were held in Zagreb, Croatia, from February 7 to 9.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Wrestling Federation, the Iranian team won gold medals with Gholamreza Farrokhi in the 82 kg weight category and Ali Akbar Yousefi in the 130 kg weight category.
For silver medals, Mehdi Ahadi won the 55 kg weight category, Mohammad Mehdi Keshtkar won the 63 kg weight category, and Danial Sohrabi won the 72 kg weight category.
And Pouya Naserpour in the 60 kg weight category won a bronze medal.
In the team rankings, Iran won the championship with 147 points, while the teams of Azerbaijan with 134 points and Hungary with 119 points came in second and third.
