Yemen’s Ansarullah has condemned Israel’s recent acts of aggression in the occupied West Bank and Lebanon.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ansarullah political bureau said the mass return of the Palestinians to their homes in Gaza manifested the will of the nation and their ability to stand up to the occupation.

The regime cannot stand the resilience of the people in the West Bank and southern Lebanon, the statement said.

“We condemn and denounce in the strongest terms the continued Zionist aggression on the West Bank and the Jenin camp in occupied Palestine, accompanied by killings, arrests, building demolitions, and forced displacement,” the statement said.

The movement said the return of people to their homes in southern Lebanon was also another victory over the Zionist regime.

“The popular uprising in southern Lebanon and the return of thousands to their villages and towns, challenging the Zionist killing and criminal machine, was a consolidation of the people, army, and resistance equation.”

The Israeli regime has been engaged in an intensive military assault on the West Bank, notably the Jenin area, over the past days.

The regime has also carried out new attacks on Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire agreement. January 26 was the end of the 60-day deadline for the withdrawal of the regime forces from southern Lebanon.

The regime killed at least 22 people returning home in southern Lebanon on that day. The latest attacks on Tuesday left at least 24 people injured.

‘Washington principal enabler of Israeli crimes’

The Ansarullah statement also condemned remarks by US President Donald Trump that the Palestinians should be relocated from Gaza.

The statement was referring to comments by Trump that he would like to see Jordan, Egypt, and other Arab countries take in the Palestinians from Gaza to allow for efforts to “just clean out” the war-torn area.

The statement affirmed the legitimate and sacred right of the Resistance in Lebanon and Palestine to confront all types of aggression.

The statement underscored that Yemen will always stand by the Resistance and the just Palestinian cause.

“We have full confidence in the resilience of the popular support for the Resistance, which will not allow displacement and occupation plans, and is capable, with God's help, of imposing new equations and rules of engagement.”
