Jan. 6: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 45,900 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.
The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, Jan. 6, are as follows:
Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 6:
- Targeted two Israeli Merkava tanks with a high-explosive device and a "Shawaz" device east of Al-Saftawi Junction, west of Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip
- In a joint operation with the Al-Quds Brigades, engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Jan. 6:
- Targeted a convoy of Israeli military vehicles in the city of Jenin, occupied West Bank, with a heavy barrage of bullets.
- Fighters in the engineering detonated a pre-planted explosive device on an Israeli military personnel carrier of the “Namer” type in Jenin, occupied West Bank.
- Raised a building where a group of Israeli soldiers were holed up in Jabalia camp, northern Gaza Strip.
Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 6:
- The missile force and the drone force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman with two winged missiles and four drones in the northern Red Sea while they were preparing for a major air attack on Yemen.
- Targeted a vital Israeli military site in occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) with two drones.
- Targeted a vital Israeli military site in occupied Ashkelon with a drone.
- Targeted another Israeli military site target in occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) with a drone.
