Amid the West-backed Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 45,600 Palestinians so far, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.
The major operations by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Wednesday, Jan. 1, are as follows:
Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 1:
Targeted the "Netivot" settlement in occupied southern Palestine with a missile salvo.
Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Forces' operations on Jan. 1:
In coordination with the Al-Nasser Salah Al-Din Brigades, targeted an Israeli military command and control site in the "Netzarim" axis using heavy mortar shells.
Mujahideen Brigades' operations on Jan. 1:
Engaged in intense clashes with Israeli forces and detonated explosive devices near the junction of the town of Tamoun, south of the Tubas Governorate in the occupied West Bank.
Al-Quds Brigades' operations on Jan. 1:
Launched a barrage of rockets targeting the occupied cities of Jerusalem Al-Quds and Tel Aviv.
Shelled concentrations of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles with mortar fire as they advanced in central and western Jabalia Refugee Camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Yemeni military's operations on Jan. 1:
Shot down a US MQ-9 drone over the airspace of the Maarib Governorate using a locally manufactured surface-to-air missile. This marks the second drone downed within 72 hours and the fourteenth since the start of the war.
