Biden considered worst US president since at least 1960s

Joe and Hunter Biden

A recent poll indicates history may have a drastically negative judgment for the outgoing president of the United States, Joe Biden, who now rates lower than even Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter, and has the lowest approval rating of any president since at least the 1960s.

He's been an awful president policy-wise, you know, duplicity-wise, law-fare-wise, it's absolutely absurd.

Well, and not to mention dementia.

It's just, you know, it's corruption, it's just so obvious, I think, to the body politic, even more so now.

So I would imagine that's why it's lower than Carter, lower than Nixon, because as a president, he was worse than both of those guys.

Biden's popularity plunged into a new abyss after he backtracked on his promises and handed an unprecedented 11-year blanket pardon to his infamous son, Hunter Biden. Many are adamant that it's an attempt to cover up alleged financial crimes in Ukraine.

It's possible that Biden has permanently transformed the presidency by grabbing what many have called ‘seemingly monarchical powers’.

Incoming President Donald Trump now says that on his first day in office, he'll grant pardons to all the January 6, 2020 protesters whom Democrats have spent the last four years tracking down and prosecuting.

I just don't feel that connection. And I feel like the last couple presidents, people felt something, whether it was ... whatever side of the aisle, the people felt something.

And he just seems like he's kind of bowing out.

And just even the last couple months, some of the things that have come out with his son and everything else, it just seems like his mind's kind of, ... it is what it is. I'm just gonna, you know, walk away slowly.

So I think the connection, the emotional connection, is what's lacking in this administration, and what's causing the approval ratings drop.

Biden did inherit a country reeling from the COVID lockdowns, the historic George Floyd protests, and four years of culture wars over the arrival of Trump, however, many say he made poor decisions in crises regarding inflation, illegal immigration, prosecuting his political opponent, censorship, and especially Afghanistan, Ukraine, Gaza Lebanon and now, Syria.

Voters expressed their clear disapproval at the ballot box last month; the Republican Party won the presidency, a majority in both houses of Congress, and a majority of state governorships and legislatures.
