Iraqi resistance conducts drone attack on Israeli military site in occupied Palestine

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, has conducted a fresh drone attack on a “key” Israeli target in the occupied territories.

“The fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq on Friday morning attacked a vital target in the north of our occupied territories, using drones,” the group said in a statement.

The statement noted that the attack came as part of the operations conducted by the group in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, amid ongoing Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq once again vowed to continue their escalating attacks against Israel.

On Thursday, the fighters conducted separate attacks on three key Israeli military sites, including in the city of Eilat (Umm al-Rashrash).

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been conducting such operations against sensitive targets lying across the occupied territories since October 7 last year, when the Israeli regime began a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip.

At least 42,500 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the brutal Israeli military onslaught so far.

Since late September, Israel has also escalated its strikes against Hezbollah, which began after the start of the war on Gaza, killing hundreds of people.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq has also carried out retaliatory attacks against the bases of the US occupation forces across Iraq and neighboring Syria over Washington’s unbridled political, military, and intelligence support for Israel’s atrocities in Gaza.
