The Islamic Resistance in Iraq says it has carried out new anti-Israeli operations, targeting the regime’s military sites in the occupied territories.

The umbrella group for Iraqi resistance fighters said in a statement on Friday that in the first operation, a target in the occupied Golan Heights was bombarded with drones.

“In continuation of our path in resisting the occupation, and support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, on Friday 27-09-2024, bombarded a target in the occupied Golan with drones,” the statement said.

The second operation struck a vital Israeli target in the occupied territories with an advanced Al-Arqab cruise missile.

The group said the operations were carried out in support of Palestinian and Lebanese people.

“In continuation of our path in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Palestine and Lebanon, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians, including children, women and the elderly, the fighters of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq on Friday 27/09/2024, attacked a vital target in our occupied lands with an advanced Al-Arqab cruise missile,” the resistance group said in the second statement.

It noted that the strikes were also in response to the massacres committed by the usurping Israeli regime against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, across the occupied territories.

The Iraqi resistance vowed it would continue striking the enemy's strongholds with increasing intensity.

During recent months, the group has also carried out many operations against US bases in Iraq and neighboring Syria over Washington’s unbridled support for Israel’s crimes in Gaza.
