May 8: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 34,844 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Tuesday, May 8, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades' operations on May 8:

• Targeted an Israeli infantry force west of the “Netzarim” axis in Gaza with a barrage of mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces east of the southern Gaza city of Rafah with heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces west of the "Netzarim" axis with mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces at the "Kerem Shalom military site" with 114-mm short-range "Rajoom" missile system.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces penetrating east of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza using appropriate weapons. 

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades' operations on May 8:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces with a 107-type short-range barrage of rockets.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells in Al-Shouka neighborhood, east of southern Gaza city of Rafah.
• Targeted an Israeli military vehicle with an RPG shell in the combat axis east of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza. 
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles infiltrating east of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza with appropriate weapons.
• Engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli forces storming the city of Nablus and Balata camp in occupied West Bank with machine guns and explosive devices.

Al-Quds Brigades' operations on May 8:

• Targeted a gathering Israeli troops and their military vehicles east of the southern Gaza city of Rafah with mortar shells. 
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles with heavy-caliber mortar shells in the Al-Shouka neighborhood, east of the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles east of the city of Rafah with a barrage of 60-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the vicinity of the airport in the southern Gaza city of Rafah with heavy-caliber mortar shells

Mujahideen Brigades' operations on May 8:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli forces stationed in the “Netzarim” axis with short-range rockets.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces' operations on May 8:

• Sniped an Israeli soldier in the Al-Shouka neighborhood, east of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza Strip, causing grave injuries. 

Al-Asifah Forces' operations on May 8:

• Bombed a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the Sheikh Ajlin area in “Netzarim” axis, southwest of Gaza City, with a barrage of mortar shells. 

Hezbollah's operations on May 8:

Eastern sector:

• At around 10:30 local time, Al-Assi site of the Israeli military was targeted by a drone.
• At around 11:03 local time, Israeli soldiers in the Metula settlement were targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 11:03 local time, Israeli military building in Al-Manara Settlement was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 17:00 local time, the Al-Samaqa site in Lebanon's Kfar Shuba was targeted with a barrage of missiles.

Western sector:

• At around 11:00 local time, two Israeli military buildings were targeted in the Shlomi settlement with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 11:00 local time, two Israeli military buildings in the Avivim settlement were targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 13:25 local time, Israeli soldiers and surveillance equipment at the Raheb site were targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 14:25 local time, Israeli soldiers and their surveillance equipment at the Al-Malikiyah site were targeted with appropriate weapons. 
• At around 15:00 local time, the headquarters of the Western Brigade of the Israeli military in Yaara was targeted with drones.
• At around 16:20 local time, the headquarters of the 91st Division of the Israeli military in the Branit Barracks was targeted with a volley of Burkan missiles.
• At around 19:50 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Ramia site with appropriate weapons.
