Jan. 15: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime's genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of almost 24,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.

The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Monday, January 15, are as follows:

Qassam Brigades' operations on Jan. 15:

• Targeted concentrations of Israeli regime vehicles and soldiers in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, with heavy-caliber mortar shells, causing damages and casualties.
• Targeted an Israeli bulldozer with an ‘Al-Yassin 105’ shell in the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in damages and casualties.
• Targeted Israeli military concentrations east of the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip with heavy-caliber mortar shells, causing damages and casualties.
•  Attacked an Israeli infantry force from one of the Qassam tunnels with machine guns from zero distance and targeted five soldiers east of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
• Detonated an anti-personnel device, ‘Ra'adiya’, among an Israeli infantry force that was advancing towards a tunnel entrance east of Khan Yunis city in southern Gaza.
• Targeted an Israeli infantry force with an anti-personnel missile, killing and wounding many regime soldiers east of Khan Yunis.

Quds Brigades's operations on Jan. 15:

• Carried out a sniping operation in the center of Khan Yunis, killing one regime soldier.
• Bombed Israeli military concentrations around the Abu Maarouf area in the center of Khan Yunis with a barrage of 60-caliber regular mortar shells.
• Launched rockets at Sderot and other illegal Israeli settlements near the northern Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah's operations on Jan. 15:

Eastern sector:

• At around 13:40 local time, a sniper force targeted surveillance equipment in the vicinity of the Metulla site with appropriate weapons.
• At around 14:00 local time, Israeli soldiers were targeted at the Ramim barracks with missiles.
• At around 15:30 local time, the Al-Sammaqa site in Shebaa was targeted with appropriate weapons.

Western sector:

• At around 11:00 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Mitat Barracks were targeted with missiles.
• At around 12:55 local time, the Birkat Risha site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 13:50 local time, the Barkat Risha site was targeted with Burkan missiles.
• At around 15:25 local time, the Al-Malikiyah site was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• At around 16:10 local time, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Hanita site were targeted with missiles.

Iraqi resistance’s operation on Jan. 15:

• Attacked the occupied Conoco base deep inside Syria with a rocket salvo, inflicting damages and casualties.

 Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 15:

• Carried out a military operation targeting an American ship in the Gulf of Aden with several naval missiles, inflicting heavy damage.
• The Yemeni military considers all American and British ships and warships participating in the aggression against the country as hostile targets, the statement noted.
