It is clear that Israel is engaging in an act of genocide across the Gaza Strip. Amid the deadly bombing, essential services have been cut off.  All exits have been closed by the regime's forces and vital aid is not being allowed in.

EU foreign affairs ministers held emergency talks on Tuesday and had to concede that Israel is breaking international law.

The United Nation has already said that cutting water, cutting electricity, cutting food, to a mass of civilian people is against international law.

The EU's executive arm is being forced to backtrack after Commissioner Olivér Várhelyi tweeted on Monday that all funding to Palestine is being cut off.

The announcement which was made by Commissioner Várhelyi was not preceded by consultations with any member of the college.

Eric Mamer, Chief EU Commission Spokesperson

Regarding Israel's latest blatant flouting of international law, there's no sign that the EU will take any action since has never done so in the past.

Pro Palestinian rallies take been taking place around the world since Saturday, with groups in Belgium having announced they will hold similar events in the coming days.
