US Senate approves massive defense spending bill 

The US Senate has approved the National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA. It authorizes $768 billion in defense spending. That’s $24 billion more than requested by President Joe Biden. Much of that money will go to the Pentagon and the military industry complex.
