Ansu Fati has scored in his first start for Barcelona in a year, helping his team to get back on track, with a 3-1 win over Valencia at Camp Nou.
Things started badly for Barca as the visitors’ captain Jose Gaya fired a thunderbolt into the bottom corner to open the scoring, just five minutes after kick-off.
But the hosts were not behind for long, as nine minutes later Fati placed a sublime curling effort into the far corner from outside the area, following a lay off from Memphis Depay.
Then five minutes before the break, Depay scored a penalty to make it 2-1 in favor of Barca.
And, as Valencia were pushing for an equalizer, Philippe Coutinho scored for the first time in almost a year to secure the win, before Sergio Aguero came off the bench for his long-awaited debut.
The result moves Barcelona up to 7th in La Liga, five points off leaders Real Socidad, having played a game less.
