Over the NBA, the Utah Jazz have closed out the best of 7-series after eliminating the Memphis Grizzlies 4-1 with a 126 to 110 home win in Game 5.
The Jazz routed the visitors 47 to 27 in the opener thanks to Donovan Mitchell who tallied 26 points. The Hosts took the 2nd quarter with a 4-point margin that led to their 75 to 51 lead in the 1st half.
The Jazz continued their fast start after the break to widen the gap to 30 points. The Grizzlies, however, were not giving up and took the final quarter, which was just too little too late.
The Jazz will advance to the Western Conference Semifinals to face the winners of the LA Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks Series, which currently stands at 3-2 in favor of the Mavericks.
