Many artists across the world have turned to art to show the suffering of the Palestinian people. They use art as a medium of expression against the Israeli regime’s repressive policies.

Iran’s Art Bureau of the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization is currently holding an exhibition and competition called “Palestine is not alone”. Hundreds of works by different artists from many countries are displayed at this International Cartoon, Caricature and Poster Contest which is held to show solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine.

Press TV also talked to an Iranian producer who has recently made a video clip of the art works on Palestine.

“I free you Palestine”, and “Lullaby” were two poems by Atefeh Sadat Bandari which were later turned into a video clip. The clips have been screened on Press TV and welcomed by the audience.

The issue of Palestine is one of the major topics these days when deals are being formed between some Arab states and Israel to normalize ties, but artists from these countries oppose such relations.

Resistance art reflects how the Palestinians suffered under occupation for over 50 years. Art is a great form of expression and has helped the artists to show their first hand experiences.
