England have booked their place at the Euro 2020 finals, after trouncing Montenegro 7-nil at Wembley Stadium.
England head-coach Gareth Southgate again put his faith in youth, fielding the youngest three lions' side since 1959; and the decision paid off, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opening the scoring in the 11th minute, before a hat-trick by Harry Kane and a strike by Marcus Rashford in between, saw England going into the break 5-nil up.
And then an own goal from Aleksandar Sofranac made it six-nil, while Tammy Abraham grabbed his first England goal, 6 minutes from time, to complete the rout, and take England’s tally to 18 points at the top of Group A, with just one game remaining.
