Pro-Beijing demonstrators unfurled Chinese flags and sang the Chinese national anthem in a Hong Kong mall on Thursday.
Footage shows demonstrators unfurling one large Chinese flag and waving scores of smaller ones inside the International Finance Centre mall.
Another group of protesters were also reportedly at the same mall, where they sang what media calls an ‘unofficial national anthem’ called ‘Glory to Hong Kong.’
Hong Kong has been rocked by demonstrations sparked by a planned extradition bill since March.
The demonstrations have evolved into a movement with wider grievances against the Hong Kong administration.
Despite Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam’s announcement that the bill was withdrawn, protesters are still calling for other demands to be met.
