People in Iraq went to polls on Saturday, to elect a new parliament in the first elections following the declaration of victory against terror group Daesh. Polling stations opened in Baghdad as well as all of Iraq's 18 provinces at 400 GMT and closed 11 hours later. Roughly 24-point-five million out of Iraq’s population of 37 million were eligible to vote.
