People, trees flung across streets as Typhoon Hato smashes China

Category 10 Typhoon Hato landed in Macao on Tuesday, disrupting more than 100 flights and leaving the city without power supply.
Streets were submerged under water, as residents and passenger vehicles attempted to find shelter from the powerful winds, the speed of which peaked at 165 kilometres (103 miles) per hour.
