Presidential candidate Ebrahim Raeisi, who is the current custodian of the Holy Shrine of Imam Reza (PBUH) in the northeastern city of Mashhad, met with his supporters at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Grounds (Mosalla) on May 16, 2017.
He was accompanied by Tehran Mayor Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, who has stood down as a candidate in favor of Raeisi.
