Israel reinstates Palestinian’s life sentence

An Israeli military court has re-sentenced a Palestinian to life in prison who has spent more than 3 decades behind bars. Nael Barghouthi was released in 2011 under a prisoner swap deal between Israel and Hamas. The ruling is believed to be part of Israel’s plan to re-imprison former Palestinian inmates.
