US-led sanctions against N Korea to raise tension

The United Nations Security Council passed a US-led resolution on Wednesday, imposing new sanctions on North Korea for its recent nuclear and missile tests. The sanctions seek to restrict Pyongyang’s trade revenues. But not many people believe that the measures would result in North Korea giving up its nuclear deterrent in the face of US hostility.
