Iran launches ballistic missiles as part of military drills
Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps have fired ballistic missiles as part of the final phase of maneuvers held in various locations. The missiles were launched from silos across the country. IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari and the head of IRGC’s Aerospace Forces Brigadier General Amir Ali Haji-zadeh personally observed the maneuvers. The purpose of the exercises has been described as showcasing Iran’s deterrent power and readiness to confront all threats against its territorial integrity.
