French stocks down 5% amid worst trading day in Europe since 2008

European stock markets have experienced their worst day of trading since 2008. Shares were down significantly in France, as they have been for nearly a week. Some are calling it a simple “correction”, but that won’t paper over the fundamental weaknesses caused by France’s commitment to austerity. Ramin Mazaheri has more from Paris.
