Iranian futsal club Tasisat Daryaei has earned a position in the final showdown of the 2015 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Futsal Club Championship in Iran’s central city of Isfahan, following a convincing 7-3 victory over Naft al-Wasat of Iraq.
Tasisat Daryaei’s 27-year-old striker Qodrat Bahadori gave his side the perfect start when he found the back of the net after just two minutes into the game played at Isfahan’s Nagsh-e-Jahan Stadium on Wednesday evening, with some 1,500 spectators in attendance.
However, Iraqi sportsman Mohammad Naser Safari scored the equalizer just two minutes later, when he struck on the break.
Tasisat took the lead in the 12th minute, when Majid Raeisi directed a corner set up by veteran futsal player Vahid Shamsaei over the goal line.
Raeisi claimed his second two minutes later, when he linked up with Shamsaei once again to score from close range.
In the 17th minute, though, Tasisat’s goalkeeper Mostafa Nazari was shown the red card and subsequently sent off for claiming the ball with his hands outside the area.
Iraq’s Naft al-Wasat made its advantage count a minute later, when Rafid Hameed poked the ball home.
The Iraqi athletes started the second half in an energetic fashion, and fired off the first shot just seconds after the break. Vahid Seifan, however, managed to collect the ball and denied the Iraqis a goal.

Reza Sangsefidi then smashed his left-foot shot into the back of Naft al-Wasat’s net to pocket his side’s fifth of the game.
Raeisi then completed his hat-trick with nine minutes to go, when he scored from long range.
Ali Abdulelah scored for Naft in the 36th minute. Tasisat maintained control to stay on course as other players netted for the Iranian side. Shamsaei scored the last goal of the night in the final seconds.
Tasisat Daryaei coach Amir Shamsaei praised his team for securing a place in the final of the 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship just 24 hours after a 4-3 win over Nagoya Oceans of Japan in the quarterfinals.
“As I said before this game, we had some special conditions. Because of yesterday’s game our players had lots of problems physically. We tried to do our best but we didn’t press enough during this game,” he said.
Tasisat Daryaei will meet Qadsia from Kuwait in the final on Friday. Seifan is expected to replace Nazari in the last fixture of 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship.
