Three men have been injured in a shooting incident near a Taco Bell fast-food restaurant in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington.
The incident happened in the 7400 block of Evergreen Way Monday night after an argument broke out in a parking lot, officials said.
Two men in a white Cadillac pulled up to two other men, got out of the vehicle and got into a fight.
The driver used a handgun and “fired numerous shots” at the two men, but accidentally struck his passenger too.
The gunman rushed his accidental victim to a hospital where the other two men were taken too. All of the three men were reported to be in stable condition.
Police arrested the driver, but so far have not released any information about the argument.
"When I realized what was going on, I was ducking down behind cars and he was waving the gun around and firing randomly," Christian Bowman, a witness, said.
According to Bowman’s son, Dallyn, one of the victims works as a manager at the Taco Bell.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, over 5,000 people have been killed and over 10,000 people have been injured by gun in the country since January 1, 2015.
