A senior Russian diplomat says a revision in the US nuclear positions will open the door to an agreement with Iran.

The people of Iran are fighting bravely and heroically for their sovereignty, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during their meeting on Monday.

Araghchi arrives in Russia to continue close consultations between Tehran and Moscow on regional and international issues.

A Russian envoy says Washington’s long-standing policy of negotiating from a position of strength through military threats and illegal sanctions has failed against of Iran and must be abandoned. 

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Monday to discuss the latest developments following a temporary ceasefire that halted US and Israeli attacks against the Islamic Republic.

The head of the Russian parliament's defense committee has stressed that no country can defeat the resilient people of Iran.

The Russian military official says Iran demonstrated a “shining example” of defense during the recent illegal US-Israeli war of aggression.
